As of 1 March 2012, Direct Mail Company AG (DMC) has taken over the delivery operations of AWZ AG, which will terminate its delivery operations on this date.
With its head office in Berne, AWZ AG and its subsidiary ADZ AG provide products and services in the field of direct marketing. The employees of AWZ AG working in the field of deliveries will continue to be employed by DMC.
AWZ AG and its subsidiary ADZ AG operate in the areas of Berne, Aargau/Solothurn, Zug and Ticino. The company as a whole employs about 1,500 staff in the field of deliveries, most of whom work at a level of employment between 10 and 20%. As a result of the take-over, these staff members will continue to be employed at DMC. From 1 March 2012, any existing contracts with AWZ customers will be handled by DMC.
